4D LABS Twitter Contest

March 12, 2018

4D LABS wants to hear how working in our core facility has helped you and your research!

You can do this by tweeting an image or video of your work in 4D LABS or one of our facilities that helped you achieve your research goals.

Most importantly, have fun and get creative.

If you know any other users of 4D LABS that may be interested in entering this contest please spread the word.

How to submit

It’s easy. Post a tweet on your Twitter account by the end of Friday, March 30, and make sure to email us at info@4dlabs.ca with your account information so we can view and judge your tweet.

Only one tweet per user.

You only have to be a registered user of 4D LABS. Nothing more other than having a personal Twitter account.

Submission requirements

The tweet must have an original image or video taken by you, and must feature your research or some of the infrastructure in 4D LABS that enabled your research. It must not infringe upon or violate any laws or any third party rights, including, but not limited to, copyright, patent, trademark, trade secret or other proprietary rights and must not constitute material that would be considered libelling, defamatory, a privacy violation, tortious or a contract breach.

Your tweet must be, of course, tasteful, respectful and courteous. It can be in English or French or both.

It must also include the following:

1.                  @4D_LABS in the text of the tweet

2.                  the hashtags #4dlabscontest, #SFUInnovates and #innovation at the end of the tweet

3.                  @4DLABSdirector and @SFUResearch at the end of the tweet

Your image or video can be edited for creativity and clarity but not in such a way that would misrepresent your work or 4D LABS.

For your submission to be valid, you must also follow the two 4D LABS Twitter accounts (@4D_LABS and @4DLABSdirector) if are already not doing so.

Up to three winners will be chosen based on the number of entries and will receive a gift card. Only the winners will be notified.

Judging criteria

The tweet must clearly demonstrate how 4D LABS has been important in achieving your research goals, and will be judged based on creativity and messaging

4D LABS reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend this Twitter contest for any reason with notification posted online at www.4dlabs.ca.
